It’s Irina Stefan time again ! Found this photograph in my archive when I was looking for other photographs. The photograph is taken at the preparations for one of her concerts. You can imagine the original one does not look like this over-postprocessed version but guess what. I like this one better. It has a feeling. It looks wired and somehow wrong. But at the same time it looks interesting. What do you think ?

“I was walking down the street just the other day / I saw these …” wait … that’s the wrong quote for this post. But it’s true. I was taking a walk some day when I saw this man on a bank with a book and a pencil in his hands. I asked him kindly if I could take a photo of him. He agreed and here is the photograph. Well, as I usually do, I like to talk a little to my subjects, if it’s possible. So I asked him what he was doing and he answered “I’m thinking.“. I decided not to ask him what he was thinking about, because that’s the most stupid question someone can ask, because thinking is the only privilege someone has and nobody will answer honestly. Who knows what he was thinking … I don’t … but probably something like “What does this weirdo want from me ?”
me: "What are you doing ?" The Thinker: "I think."
