Ghita is a colorful person (even if the picture is B/W, you still can see this), who lives in my hometown, Sighisoara, where in the hot summer days you find him on his house’s moat playing on a guitar all day long. He can play you everything you want, just stay and talk with him. I personally heard him sing some Jimi Hendrix (flawless) and then some Jazz and Metallica … basically he can play everything. Just … stay with him … Ghita is kinda lonely … He has no family, no real friends and no money. His only love is his guitar and the music it makes.  Saint Ghita

“I was walking down the street just the other day / I saw these …” wait … that’s the wrong quote for this post. But it’s true. I was taking a walk some day when I saw this man on a bank with a book and a pencil in his hands. I asked him kindly if I could take a photo of him. He agreed and here is the photograph. Well, as I usually do, I like to talk a little to my subjects, if it’s possible. So I asked him what he was doing and he answered “I’m thinking.“. I decided not to ask him what he was thinking about, because that’s the most stupid question someone can ask, because thinking is the only privilege someone has and nobody will answer honestly. Who knows what he was thinking … I don’t … but probably something like “What does this weirdo want from me ?”  me: "What are you doing ?" The Thinker: "I think."
